Capped administration fee
The administration fee of 0.22% is subject to a limit of $2,200
in a financial year for any member. If your account balance
at the end of the financial year exceeds $1,000,000, any
administration fee above $2,200 will be rebated to your
account. Rebates will be calculated when the Fund's annual
accounts for the financial year are finalised, and the amount of
any rebate will show on your Annual Statement as a credit to your
account.
If you have more than one account in ESI Super, or you have a
spouse who is also a member, the capped administration fee applies
to the total balances of these accounts. If the combined
total of your account balances at the end of the financial year
exceeds $1,000,000, any administration fee above $2,200 will be
rebated to your accounts proportional to their balances at the end
of the financial year.
However you will need to complete an Account linking request Form and return the
Form to us, so we can link your accounts for the purpose of
calculating whether the fee cap applies. If you have only
one ESI Super account, you do not need to do anything.
